The Bold Hotel in Southport is situated right on Lord Street, famously the inspiration for Paris’s wide boulevards. Behind the imposing façade is a hotel, bar and a restaurant which serves traditional British cuisine.
We are a privately owned family run hotel. The Bold Hotel is centrally situated on one of the most beautiful tree lined boulevards in Britain, forming part of Lord Street conservation area. That places you in the heart of this fine town and the attractive marina lake and is conveniently located close to Southport Promenade, Floral Hall and the Arts.

The Bold Hotel Restaurant seats up to 75 people.
It overlooks an al fresco dining area with view overlooking Lord Street and is the perfect setting for a romantic candlelit dinner or lively dinner parties.
The cuisine is traditional British with a range of specialities from the A La Carte and Table D’Hote menus including flambé and fresh fish dishes.
The food is complemented by a range of fine wines.
Guests will also enjoy a full English breakfast in these elegant surroundings.

The bar at the Bold Hotel is one of the most popular meeting places in town. Here you can eat, drink or just relax in a warm friendly atmosphere.
The Bold Hotel also has a very popular al fresco dining area that seats up to 100 people. For those hot summer days, the patio is arranged with tables, chairs and umbrellas for the convenience of our customers, so that they can soak up the sun while they wine and dine while offering great views along Lord Street.
There are two menu choices – the bar menu and our specials board menu.
Our bar is open from 10am to Midnight with a 2am licence for residents.
