1. How do I book a holiday?
You can book your holiday online at www.coachbookings.com and once you have chosen your holiday follow the online booking instructions. Alternatively you can ring 0345 33 11 080 and speak to one of our representatives and pay with your credit or debit card.
2. What happens when a holiday is booked on-line?
When your holiday is booked online the information you give us is first checked (credit card etc.) and once authorised we can confirm your booking. You will be given a printable receipt, and the information you supplied will be passed on to the tour operator for that holiday.
3. Are all holidays available to book?
All holidays listed on the CoachBookings.com website should be available. The coach firms have the ability to amend their tours on-line and should always be upto date.
4. What is the easiest way to return to a holiday I like?
If you see a holiday you like, make a note of the tour number and enter that number again on the search page when you want to return.
5. How can I enter special requests?
When making your booking there is a section that says "Special Requests", you can enter any requests here e.g. high floor room, quiet room, seats at the back of the coach, easy access bedroom, extra pillows, diabetic, walking difficulties etc. Although none of these requests can be guaranteed if the room or seats are available and you have requested them then the operator will do their best to satisfy your requirements.
6. Can I amend my booking once it has been made?
The only way for your booking to be amended is to contact CoachBookings.com by email at info coachbookings.com or by phone on 0345 33 11 080. State your amendments clearly and we will get back to you as soon as possible. If you only need to change your special requests then an email with your new requests should be sent, please don't forget to include you tour code with all correspondence.
7. Can I list my group holiday on CoachBookings.com and only allow our group to book places?
If you have a group of people that have a holiday in mind then you can put all the details on this website. If you only want to allow your private group to book on this holiday we can also do this for you. To do this first you must register as a user, and then register under Group Bookings you will then be given your access codes via email. Once you have your codes you can login to Group Bookings and put all the data in the form to list your group holiday. If you have difficulties then contact us on 0345 33 11 080 or email with any queries. If you want a price for hotel and coach we can provide this for you.
Once your information has been loaded into the form you have a choice to allow your holiday to be listed on the website or to be kept as a private group. If you choose to list the holiday on the website then you will be bound by the terms & conditions for group organisers and the commission rate will be higher. If you only want to keep your group private then again you will still be bound by the terms & conditions for group organisers, but the commission rate will be much lower. Some groups sell as many seats to the private group as they can and then list the remaining availability with CoachBookings.com on the full website to fill as many seats as possible.
The major advantages for group holidays is that all the money can be collected online or over the phone, people can pay with credit/debit cards, the group organiser doesn't need to get involved with collection and we are Members of ABTA so you can book with confidences.
8. Why does CoachBookings.com ask for postcodes?
The postcodes help our website search for pick-up points with-in your vicinity, most of these will be within 10 miles.
9. How do I know which company is running the coach tour?
When the holidays are listed there will also be a link to the operator running the holiday. This will give you an outline of the company/group running your holiday, any membership of coach organisations, and also the terms & conditions.
10. How do I know what is included in the holiday price?
When you are searching for a holiday a list of suitable ones will be displayed, at this point if you select one on the list a holiday description will be given. This should include your board status if staying in a hotel, the hotel rating, any extras with the holiday such as excursions or free tickets, and the operators name. If you are still unsure then contact CoachBookings.com by phone on 0345 33 11 080.
11. Are CoachBookings.com holidays reduced from the brochure price?
Whenever you book a coach holiday you will find it extremely good value for the services offered. The operator of the holiday will choose whether to reduce the price of the holiday or not. If a coach holiday is departing within a week or two and there are plenty of spare seats then you may get a good reduction, however if the tour is nearly full and only a few seats are left then the holiday may be listed at the full price.
12. What are children and OAP rates?
The reduction for children will hinge on one thing and that is the age of the child. Each holiday will have different child ages as they are set by the operator, and you should check this before booking your holiday. This information will be displayed in the terms and conditions for your holiday provider.
13. Can I contact the tour operator direct?
Yes you can contact them direct, either from the information provided on the holiday listing or once booked from the confirmation paperwork you receive.
14. How do I change or cancel a holiday?
If you wish to amend your holiday or cancel then you need to inform CoachBookings.com immediately, this will need to be done in writing (either email or by post). Once this has been received we can contact your holiday provider immediately and act upon it as listed in the terms and conditions.
15. How safe is my money once the holiday is booked?
Many of the travel arrangements that we sell are protected in case of the financial failure of the travel company. The main holiday that you book is protected by an ABTA bond but additional supplements to the main holiday may not be covered. Please ask us about the protection that applies to your booking.
16. I have never travelled on a coach holiday, how does it work?
Basically you choose a coach holiday, pick your destination and pick-up point, book and pay, shortly afterwards you will receive written confirmation of your booking. You will then, usually within ten days of departure, receive your pickup point time & luggage labels. You will usually make your own way to the pick-up point either by a reliable taxi firm or friends/ family. Please allow 20 minutes for your coach to arrive (traffic). If there is still no sign of your coach you will have a contact number to ring. Once your coach arrives and your luggage is loaded you will take the seat allocated to you. The rest of the holiday is now down to the tour driver and you can sit back and relax.
17. Can I list one of my coach holidays on CoachBookings.com?
