Itinerary
Included ExcursionsLand's End & St Ives (full day)Our first excursion takes us to Land's End; this billowing mound is where England meets the wild waves of the Atlantic Ocean at its most south-westerly point. Offering striking views, be sure to gaze over the craggy cliffs and out across the deep blue sea, and don't forget to grab a photo next to the iconic signpost with the famous 'John o' Groats - 874 miles away' signage! Next we travel to the Cornish holiday town of St Ives. Stroll along one of the sandy beaches, watch the fishermen launch their boats, wander through the maze of cobbled streets with a pasty in hand or take in the artwork on display at the Cornwall branch of the Tate Gallery.Eden Project (full day)Built into the Cornish countryside, the Eden Project is often described as the Eighth Wonder of the World. With thousands of species of plants to see both indoors and out and a wealth of activities taking place every day, there is always something new to set our eyes on. The aerial walkway affords lovely views over the Rainforest Biome, the largest enclosed rainforest in the world.Optional ExcursionPadstow (£10pp) (half day)Why not join our optional excursion to see another of Cornwall's highlights? Padstow is a total charmer of a fishing port! Forever synonymous with celebrity chef Rick Stein, who owns a local restaurant, it's a fab foodie destination. After gorging yourself on a platter of fresh seafood, head to the pretty harbour and gaze out at the boats rolling in. Don't forget to explore the quirky gift shops, or simply while away the afternoon tucking into a delicious Cornish cream tea in one of the many lovely cafés.
