Torquay
Acclaimed as'The English Riviera'\nDevon's most popular coastal resort, and part of the UNESCO-accredited Global Geopark (meaning it provides unique cultural, geological, and historical importance to the world), Torquay is the ultimate traditional seaside town that's still thriving to this day.\n\nThis is because its climate and beauty make you feel like you're abroad - the reason why it is acclaimed as the 'English Riviera'. No wonder Agatha Christie spent much of her life in her hometown!\n\n
Famous for its palm trees, harbour and beaches\nThe family-friendly holiday destination is famous for its iconic palm tree-lined promenade, busy harbour and marina, sandy beaches - and its horseshoe-shaped bay provides some of the best conditions for water sports.\n\nAlthough the town is full of old-school seaside charm, it is a cosmopolitan place - full of continental-style cafés, restaurants, bars, and one of the top theatres in the country. There is no better place to enjoy some of the freshest seafood straight from England's Seafood Coast.

Plymouth
With breathtaking views, plenty of attractions and incredible shops and restaurants to enjoy, Plymouth is a lively oceanside city on the South Coast. Nestled between Devon and Cornwall, Plymouth is home to many famous attractions, from The Box Museum, the Mayflower Steps and the famous Hoe with its red-and-white striped former lighthouse, Smeaton's Tower. \n\nThe popular Barbican and Sutton Harbour offer quaint cobbled streets, along with a picturesque harbour and plenty of independent shops and restaurants to enjoy. Even simply exploring the waterfront will bring you stunning views out onto the ocean and you can explore the waterfront parks which can be found throughout the city.
