Itinerary
Description
On this exciting five-day tour, we explore the spectacular heart of England - gorgeous countryside, charming towns, stunning architecture, and captivating locations that take us on a journey through England's history. We visit the idyllic towns of Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick, the beautiful National Memorial Arboretum and more.

Itinerary
Included ExcursionsStratford-upon-Avon (full day)Set in stunning rural Warwickshire countryside and famously the birthplace of William Shakespeare, this beautiful market town is infused with history, evident in its Tudor timber-framed houses and quaint side streets. Take a relaxing stroll in the open parklands along the river Avon or enjoy the peaceful ambience in one of the rustic gastropubs or Bard-themed tearooms.Lichfield & National Memorial Arboretum (full day)We explore Lichfield, a handsome cathedral city, featuring beautiful grade 2 listed buildings dating back to the 13th century when King Henry VIII ruled the land. Wander the historic streets, adorned with independent boutiques and cafes or find public gardens to relax in, such as the charming hidden garden wrapped around the grounds of Chapter House.Next, we make our way to the National Memorial Arboretum, a maturing woodland landscape and centre of Remembrance, with visitors able to commemorate lives lost in service. A peaceful and thought-provoking area of 25,000 trees, these beautiful gardens and woods are also home to a large collection of flora, fauna and wildlife.Warwick (full day) A town synonymous with historic events and a deep-rooted heritage, Warwick is a fascinating place to visit. Its most popular attraction, Warwick Castle, is a magnificent battlement crowed fortress from the time of William the Conqueror. Find plenty to explore in the centre, from picturesque parks and gardens dotted around the heart of the town to food and drink venues which reflect Warwick's individuality.
