Description
Our day begins with a visit to Chorley’s famous market, which dates back as far as 1498. Today the market runs along Fazakerley Street, a tree-lined pedestrianised area in the heart of town. Next, it’s on to WWT Martin Mere Wetland Centre, where you can get up close and personal with some of nature’s most wonderful wildlife. There are beautiful gardens to explore, nature trails, and thousands of rare birds to see; a cheeky family of otters; an all-star cast of pretty pink flamingos, and a group of white storks to mention a few. En route home, we’ll call for a coffee stop at Jak Hanson Shopping Outlet.
