Then after lunch at the hotel, we depart for central Edinburgh where there's free time before making your way to the castle to take your seat for the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. The show brings together musicians and performers from every part of the world for a fabulous display of international culture. After the performance we travel back to our hotel.Loch LomondWe have a full day to experience Loch Lomond's stunning scenery, along with visits to the enchanting wee villages of Balloch, known as the gateway to the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park, and Luss, which boasts prim rows of chocolate-box cottages and one of Loch Lomond's lovely beaches.Gretna GreenOn our way home, we enjoy a stop at the marriage capital of the world, Gretna Green. In this famous village lies the original spot where young eloping couples would marry 'over the anvil' at the Blacksmiths Shop.
