Description
All aboard! Take your seats behind the iconic Green Dragon, the famous Victorian locomotive which starred in The Railway Children. We enjoy an exclusive journey on the heritage Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, travelling through breathtaking landscapes of heather and windswept moors on a railway that has become synonymous with the iconic 1970s film!
During our five-mile round trip, we take a break at the Edwardian-style, Oakworth Station, which featured in both the 1970 original and 2022 sequel, the Railway Journey. To make our day even more magical, on board the Green Dragon we are treated to a talk by Graham Mitchell, who played the train guard, and Chris Witty, who played the Boy in the Red Jersey, sharing with us behind-the-scenes facts and fun stories on set during the filming of the 70s classic.
