We visit York, a beautiful city to behold and abundant in magnificent architecture. We also take time to explore Skipton, affectionately known as the 'Gateway to the Dales' and home to the famous market, and then onto the historical streets of Grassington.

Included ExcursionsSkipton Market & GrassingtonWe tour the stunning Yorkshire Dales, calling first at the market town of Skipton, known as the Gateway to the Dales, with a grand medieval castle as its centrepiece. We have time to browse the award-winning market, which still operates under a charter granted by King John over 800 years ago. We then continue to the charming village of Grassington, with its striking surroundings, bustling square, traditional old stone buildings and quirky shops.YorkWe travel to the scenic city of York. Wander through the 'Shambles', a warren of narrow streets and overhanging buildings dating back to medieval times, or take a stroll around the ancient walls surrounding the city. There's also the glorious York Minster, the largest Gothic cathedral in northern Europe, with world-famous stained-glass windows. No trip to York is complete without a visit to the famous Betty's tea rooms, where you can indulge in their legendary afternoon tea.
