Description
Pedal back in time for this Call the Midwife backstage tour at Chatham Dockyard, where our very own midwife will lead us through the recognisable cobbled streets where many memorable scenes, starring Miranda Hart and Jenny Agutter, took place. This break is a fantastic chance see original props from the show and hear little-known behind-the-scenes stories of filming. With time in London to shop or sightsee also included, this break provides a chance to compare 1950s and 60s London to the present day!

Later, we transfer to our hotel and check in for our overnight stay.Day 2 Following breakfast at the hotel, we head to Chatham Dockyard where we will be greeted by our midwife at the HMS Cavalier memorial for the Locations Walking Tour. After the tour, we rejoin the coach for our journey home.
Venue Information
Selected hotel (JG3 Rating) Selected hotel (JG3 Rating)
Hotels with a JG3 rating tend to be a more formal style of hotel, often part of a hotel chain, or are very-welcoming family-owned properties. Generally, they offer a greater range of facilities and services, and bedrooms tend to be a little more spacious with additional features. Public areas are larger and include lounge seating, bar and restaurant with good quality food served either buffet style or waiter service.
Hotel accessibility information
Your hotel will be confirmed approximately 3 weeks before departure, therefore we cannot guarantee that the hotel will have a lift and/or ground floor rooms and may be unsuitable for those with limited mobility.
