Included ExcursionsBury Market (full day)The town of Bury is renowned for its fantastic 500-year-old market. One of Britain's finest traditional markets, it boasts over 350 stalls offering a wide range of products - perfect for shoppers and bargain hunters. We have time to enjoy this historic market town, with its buzzing atmosphere, stunning riverside walks and award-winning attractions.Bowness-on-Windermere, Ambleside & Keswick (full day)We journey to the Lake District where we stop in Bowness-on-Windermere, a charming enclave on the banks of Lake Windermere, which offers lovely panoramic views of the lake plus plenty of craft and gift shops, lakeside cafés and tea rooms. Our next stop is Ambleside at the head of Lake Windermere. This pretty town's heritage is on display everywhere you look and was the source of inspiration for many romantic poets including Keats and Shelley. Our final stop is the handsome market town of Keswick which sits between peaceful Derwentwater and the looming bulk of Skiddaw, England's fourth-highest mountain. Enjoy the pedestrianised Market Square, browse the unique shops and art galleries, or treat yourself, in one of the quaint cafés and restaurants.
