Included ExcursionsBath (full day)We travel to Bath, the only city in the UK to be named a World Heritage Site in its entirety. Rich in diversity, its most famous attraction is of course its natural hot springs at the Roman Baths, a magnificent temple and bathing complex. Renowned for its stunning architecture, this wonderful city has something to see at every turn. Marvel at the stunning Bath Abbey, the last of the great medieval churches of England, visit the many museums including the Jane Austen Centre, stroll through the beautiful parks and gardens, browse the many fantastic shops this picturesque city has to offer or enjoy afternoon tea at the magnificent 18th-century Pump Room.Minehead & Burnham-on-Sea (full day)Our first destination today is the famous seaside resort, Minehead. Traditional, family-friendly Minehead has been attracting tourists for years and it's easy to see why - the stunning coastline and long sandy beach attracts holidaymakers from all over the UK. There is plenty to see, including the quaint fishing quarter, charming harbour and the bustling town centre with its shops, tea rooms and restaurants. You can also stroll to the beautiful Blenheim Gardens or the 14th-century hilltop church, taking in the famous Church steps along the way.Optional Excursion\n\nOptional excursion to Wells, Street & Cheddar including a scenic drive through Cheddar Gorge - £14pp Our optional excursion begins with two notable villages, one situated at the foot of the Mendip Hills and the other at the foot of the Polden Hills. The historic cathedral city of Wells is England's smallest city and is renowned for its well-preserved historic centre, narrow streets and medieval architecture.Our second stop of the day is Street, the largest village in Somerset and the birthplace of Clarks shoes! There is plenty to see in this thriving village, with Keep a look out for the distinctive blue lias stone, many of the houses in Street were built using the distinctive rock consisting of thin blue argillaceous limestone.We finish our day with a scenic drive through the beautiful Somerset countryside to Cheddar Gorge. Cutting across the Mendip Hills, the famous limestone gorge is classified as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Site of Special Scientific Interest, and a Special Area of Conservation. The road runs through the ravine and offers outstanding views of the country's highest inland cliffs, soaring dramatically to 500ft.

Sandringham Hotel Sandringham Hotel
Centrally located on the seafront, the comfortable Sandringham Hotel overlooks the beach and is just a few steps from the Grand Pier. Offering excellent service, this is the perfect base for our itinerary. All bedrooms are en-suite with a TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee-making facilities. The hotel has a bar/lounge and restaurant.
