Included ExcursionsLiverpool (full day)We make our way to Liverpool to enjoy a guided city tour. We uncover Liverpool's legendary locales and hear the stories behind the famous landmarks. Afterwards, we enjoy some free time. From the impressive Liver Building to the renovated Albert Dock, there are plenty of iconic sights to tick off and stories to discover around every corner. Fans of The Beatles can explore some of the locations frequented by the famous band such as the Cavern Club. Later we return to the hotel for dinner and our second night's stay.Chester (full day)Today we head to the delightful city of Chester, where the fascinating sights span the centuries. We enjoy a walking city tour followed by time at leisure. Wander through the streets of black and white timber-framed buildings and double-height shops or visit the remains of the city's Roman Amphitheatre. As well as an abundance of historical attractions Chester also has a thriving shopping centre with a host of cafés, restaurants and pubs to tempt you. We make our way home in the afternoon.Optional ExcursionOrmskirk Market & Southport (£14pp) (full day)Our optional excursion takes us to experience one of the UK's most traditional and well-loved outdoor markets. The pedestrianised streets around the famous Clock Tower come alive with around 100 stalls offering a huge variety of goods. From clothing, cosmetics, stationary, household goods and hardware to fresh local Lancashire products - there's something here for everyone!Next, we head to 'England's Classic Resort', Southport. Home to the country's second longest and oldest pier with classic seaside attractions, boasting miles of golden sand and beautiful parks and gardens, perfect for a relaxing stroll.

Situated on the picturesque River Dee and surrounded by a two mile ring of Roman Walls, Chester is a medieval city and a top coach holiday destination, boasting the largest Roman amphitheatre in Britain.
