Optional Excursion\n\nNewport & the Needles - £12pp (half day)On our optional excursion, we enjoy the best of both worlds, with a visit to Newport, the bustling capital of the island and a scenic drive to experience the magnificent views along the coastline from Yarmouth to the Needles. Newport is a picturesque town centre with two squares surrounded by elegant Georgian and Victorian architecture. Take the chance to explore the historic quayside or browse the selection of speciality shops here. Today, we also travel on the Ventnor scenic coastal route to the Needles. We stop to admire the magnificent views of the legendary Needles; the three towering rocks rise up from the sea to form the postcard picture of the island.
