Oxford, a beautiful city which dates back to Saxon times. It's packed full of fascinating attractions, attracting many visitors each year.
Take a wander down quaint cobbled streets, discover the stunning architecture, and marvel at the awe-inspiring landmarks within the city of dreaming spires. Steeped in history, Oxford has provided authors with creative inspiration over the years, including Chaucer, with his reference to the city in The Canterbury Tales. It's also a popular film location, appearing in TV dramas and films, including Inspector Morse, Harry Potter and Endeavour.
Oxford is one of the most famous university cities in the world. There are numerous impressive college buildings dotted throughout the city, including the well-known Bodleian Libraries which opened in 1602. This group of 28 libraries is now the largest academic library system in the UK.

Step back into Olde England with a stroll around the town, admiring the black and white timbered buildings.
