HIGHLIGHTS: St Ives,Truro, Falmouth, Perranporth, Cornwall's spectacular North Coast, Land's End, Penzance
St Ives is a proverbial honey pot for tourists! With its idyllic harbour, pretty fishermen cottages and unique shops and cafés, there's a picture-postcard view around almost every corner! Add to the mix its wonderful Porthsmear Beach, and its perfect position for touring the rest of Cornwall, and you can see why it is such a favourite holiday destination. On this lovely five day break we explore the furthest reaches of Cornwall, with its landscape dotted with copper mines, stunning coastlines and legends aplenty - as well as to the country's most westerly point, Land's End.

Excursions
HALF DAY: We make our way to England's most westerly point, Land's End, where rocky cliffs tower above the sea. We continue to Penzance, boasting many fine buildings and exotic gardens, blessed by the mild year round climate.
FULL DAY: This morning we tour along North Cornwall Heritage Coast to reach the seaside favourite of Perranporth which boasts one of the finest beaches in England. Later we arrive in Truro, Cornwall's 'capital', with its impressive cathedral, cobbled streets and lovely Georgian architecture.
HALF DAY: To the south of Cornwall and the maritime town and resort of Falmouth, guarded by the impressive Pendennis Castle headland. The rich seafaring heritage can be explored in the National Maritime Museum which is well worth a visit.

Joining Your Grand UK Coach Holiday
For 2024 we have introduced improvements to our network of local pick up points across the eastern, central and southern England, aimed at shortening your journey times and getting you away on holiday more easily and conveniently, meaning an altogether more relaxing start. We now have two pick up regions so your travel days will be more convenient, providing more efficient journeys, meeting your tour manager and fellow travellers earlier and in most cases arriving in resort earlier, please refer to our Pick-ups section below for more details.
The Tour Ref below indicates whether the tour departs from Area A or Area B by having either an A or B at the end. For example, GUK5A would be a tour departing from Area A.

Traveling from Departure Area A: Be picked up from your free local departure point, and join your tour coach at our interchange area at Northampton Services on the M11, at junction 15A.
Traveling from Departure Area B: Be picked up from your free local departure point, and join your tour coach at our interchange area at Beaconsfield Services, M40, junction 2.
