Excursions
Full Day:Winchester
Winchester has been the Royal capital of Saxon Wessex, and England, for many centuries. There is also plenty of time to explore with a visit to the medieval Great Hall highly recommended.
Half Day:Poole
This lovely town combines as a ferry port and departure point for the National Trust’s Brownsea Island, with its role as an affluent residential town and holiday centre. The quay is a delight to explore and a visit to the Poole Maritime Museum is well worthwhile.
Half Day:Salisbury
Famous for its magnificent Gothic Cathedral and tallest spire in England, the grid-like streets, with their black and white half-timbered houses, are a joy to explore.

The Tour Ref below indicates whether the tour departs from Area A or Area B by having either an A or B at the end. For example, GUK5A would be a tour departing from Area A.
