Included ExcursionsManchester (full day)Our included excursion to bustling Manchester won't disappoint those in need of some retail therapy! The Arndale Centre has all your favourite high street brands, designer boutiques are dotted along King Street and there's also the Trafford Centre - a huge shopping complex. For rest stops, there are plenty of cafés and restaurants covering all different types of cuisine along Deansgate, the main street running through Manchester. Salford Quays is also well worth a closer look. Once the site of the Manchester docks, it was upgraded as part of a massive urban regeneration project, resulting in a contemporary waterfront that's home to the captivating Imperial War Museum North and the northern hub for both ITV and the BBC.Chester (full day)For our second included excursion we travel to the medieval city of Chester, famed for its beautiful black and white Tudor buildings and unique 'rows' where the picturesque galleries run above the central shops. Here we have time to explore the great sights of the city such as the town hall and the Norman-era cathedral or refresh ourselves at a selection of bars and restaurants.Liverpool (full day)For our first included excursion explore the iconic city of Liverpool. From the famous waterfront to the impressive Liver Building and the renovated Albert Dock, the city holds a wealth of famous landmarks to discover, including the Cavern Club, the venue where The Beatles' unstoppable popularity began. Or for those seeking the city's many shopping opportunities, there's a wealth of places to pick up a bargain, ranging from huge shopping centres filled with the latest trends to family-owned boutique stores.

Fancy a trip to Manchester? You'll be spoilt for choice when it comes to shopping! The Arndale Centre has all your favourite high street brands plus a food court with plenty of choice for lunch. You'll find designer boutiques in King Street, plus a Selfridges and Harvey Nichols in Exchange Square. Deansgate, the main street through Manchester, is packed with cafes and restaurants covering all different types of cuisine and just outside the city there's also the Trafford Centre - a huge shopping complex of high street shops - get ready to shop 'til you drop!\n\nSalford Quays is also well worth a closer look. Once the site of the Manchester docks, it was upgraded as part of a massive urban regeneration project, resulting in the contemporary waterfront we see today and is home to some fabulous attractions including The Lowry theatre, the Imperial War Museum North and the northern hub for both ITV and the BBC. The Quayside outlet mall provides more retail therapy opportunities but be sure to put your feet up in the myriad bars and restaurants - perfect for people watching along the glistening waterfront!
