Join us as we head to Somerset for our Winter Warmer in Weston-Super-Mare tour. Blow away the

Itinerary
MONDAY
Depart Leyland at 9.30am for our journey to
Weston-Super-Mare with a lunch stop in Worcester
en-route.
TUESDAY
Free day to explore the resort and to relax at the
hotel, this afternoon we will enjoy a cream tea.
WEDNESDAY
Long half day – today we visit the smallest city in
England, the historic, compact city of Wells. Wells
has a historic centre with magnificent cathedral
and unique moated Bishop’s Palace. Perhaps visit
the wonderful array of independent shops, allowing
time to explore and have lunch before heading
back to the hotel mid-afternoon.
THURSDAY
Long half day – today we take a scenic drive to
the foot of the beautiful Mendip Hills with stops in
Axbridge. Continue our journey to Cheddar on the
edge of the Somerset Levels, home of the Cheddar
Gorge. Cheddar Cheese is world famous, and the
traditional method of cheese making is still used
today at the Cheddar Gorge Cheese Company,
matured in Cheddar’s Gough’s Cave. We view the
cheese making area and watch this famous cheese
being made with a chance to sample and purchase
the only Cheddar made in Cheddar, Somerset.
FRIDAY
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for
the return journey home with a lunch stop at RAF
Cosford en-route
