Regarded as the capital of the Highlands, Inverness has all the benefits of city life, with the scenic beauty and nature of the Scottish Highlands right on its doorstep. Its old town features 19th century Inverness Cathedral, the mostly 18th century Old High Church and an indoor Victorian market selling food, crafts and clothing. Take a stroll along the City Heritage trail and delight in the cultural heritage of this striking city, from Drummuirs House to Bow Court. We also include a cruise on the gentle waters of Loch Ness to complete a wonderful excursion.

Enjoy a scenic excursion by coach through pretty towns and villages with time to enjoy Glenlivet, pretty Tomintoul and popular Grantown-on-Spey before taking a wonderful steam train journey. The Strathspey Railway invites you to step aboard and celebrate the history of steam travel through the Highlands of Scotland. This ten mile restored section of the original Highland Railway Line enables you to travel back in time to an era when steam whistles blew, carriage doors slammed and there was a familiar click-clack, rhythm of the rails, as the train travels along the track.
