Historically a market town, it is located at the mouth of the River Eske and attracts frequent visitors due to its extensive eateries, shops and attractions for the whole family - all revolving around the Donegal Diamond, its town square.

Sligo Town

From Strandhill in the South to Mullaghmore in the North, it's a mecca for surfers, and there is no greater base for exploring Leitrim's Glencar Valley including its waterfall and the Dartry Mountains - one of which is synonymous with Sligo: the majestic flat-topped Ben Bulben.
