From Strandhill in the South to Mullaghmore in the North, it's a mecca for surfers, and there is no greater base for exploring Leitrim's Glencar Valley including its waterfall and the Dartry Mountains - one of which is synonymous with Sligo: the majestic flat-topped Ben Bulben.
