Nowhere does nostalgia quite like the Haworth 1940s Celebration! Perfectly capturing that famous 'keep calm and carry on' Blitz spirit, this quaint Yorkshire village is transformed to commemorate this iconic time in British history. Jive music and rousing Winston Churchill speeches fill the bunting-adorned streets, revellers arrive dressed up to the nines in their traditional wartime costumes and historical reenactments, vintage car displays and live bands all come together to create a wonderful atmosphere. So ladies, get ready to dust off your A-Line skirts and red lipstick, and gents, dig out those knitted vests and Homburg hats, and let's do the Lindy Hop!What's Included?

SaturdayFrom a morning pickup in your local area we travel by coach to Skipton, known as the 'Gateway to the Dales'. We have time at leisure to go bargain hunting at the famous Skipton Market before we continue to our hotel, arriving in time for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.SundayAfter breakfast, we head by coach to the Haworth 1940s Celebration. Taking place in the picturesque village of Brontë-famous Haworth, expect everything from historical reenactments, vintage car displays and street stalls to dancing, singing and plenty of live music. We re-join the coach in the afternoon for our journey home.Hotel
