This little beach town boasts a charming seafront with an esplanade and many fine Georgian and Victorian buildings. Our next stop is Troon, which overlooks the Isle of Arran and offers stunning sandy beaches, featured in the popular historical series Outlander, and a wealth of independent cafés and unique boutiques.Loch Lomond (Luss & Balloch) (full day)We have a full day to experience Loch Lomond's stunning scenery, along with visits to the enchanting wee villages of Balloch, known as the gateway to the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park, and Luss which boasts prim rows of chocolate-box cottages, striking hills and incredible views stretching out across the waters of the Loch.En-route visitGretna GreenOn our way home, we enjoy a stop at the marriage capital of the world, Gretna Green. In this famous village lies the original spot where young eloping couples would marry 'over the anvil' at the blacksmith shop.Hotel
