Day 1 - After joining your holiday coach a comfort stop will be made en route for lunch before arriving at your hotel in the heart of Snowdonia for your 3 night stay with dinner & breakfast\n\nDay 2 - 3 - At leisure with two included excursions. A 3-course lunch is served in the hotel on Easter Sunday\n\nINCLUDED EXCURSIONS\n\nCaernarfon & Ffestiniog Railway\nCaernarfon has an air historic charm about it especially around Palace St, Castle Sq and Hole in the Wall St. Within the cobbled lanes of the old walled town are some fine Georgian buildings and an interesting waterfront. The magnificent Caernarfon Castle has undergone a large scale conservation project which will include a new accessible viewing platform via a glass lift and a new cafe. It is open daily 10.00 - 16.00 with entrance approx. £11 pp in 2022. Then head to Porthmadog on the coast where you will join one of the unique steam-hauled trains which run along 13 miles from Porthmadog to Blaenau Ffestiniog in the mountains (fare included). Your coach awaits you when you disembark to drive you back to Llanberis. (NB exact routing of the day may change subject to final train schedule)\n\nSnowdon Mountain Railway\nThe Snowdon Mountain Railway, Britain's only rack and pinion railway starts from Llanberis. This epic journey has been experienced by some 12 million travellers since 1896 who come to enjoy the spectacular panoramic views. PLEASE NOTE that at Easter a diesel service operates up to Clogwyn Station which is 3/4 of the way up the mountain. The summit is not due to re-open until May/June. Clogwyn Station is located on an exposed ridge, overlooking Llanberis Pass and Clogwyn Du'r Arddu cliffs. Nearby lies a group of huge boulders that once tumbled from cliffs above and are rumoured to be the home of a witch named Canthrig Bwt who would try to catch children climbing on the rocks.\n\nDay 4 - After a hearty Welsh breakfast, all aboard for the journey back to your home towns.
