Your Itinerary
DAY 1 - After joining your holiday coach to the south coast enjoy an en-route stop for refreshments. Arrive at your hotel in Torquay late afternoon where your hosts await with a very warm welcome and tea / coffee & biscuits. 3 Night stay with breakfast & dinner included. Live entertainment this evening.\n\nThe Nethway Hotel is walkable to the main attractions in Torquay and the seafront. There are lovely views from the hotel terrace overlooking Torbay to Berryhead Lighthouse. A Free Bar operates each evening between 20.00 - 23.00 on selected drinks (draught cider, bitter & lager; house wine - red, white, rose; house spirits - vodka, whisky, rum, gin, martini plus a draught mixer). There is live entertainment on Friday night, a 60s & 70s themed night fancy dress party with DJ on Saturday and bingo, quiz & entertainment on Sunday night\n\nDAY 2 - Enjoy Torquay\nEnjoy a day in Torquay on the magnificent 'English Riviera' with its palm-lined seafront and russet-red cliffs - perfect for a Spring promenade. There is a market every Saturday (Union Street), a good smattering of cafes and restaurants as well as the Torquay Museum (open Saturday 10.00 - 16.00), full of local history and artefacts with a gallery dedicated to Agatha Christie, the 'Queen of Crime' born in Torquay in 1890. Then it's time to get your glad rags on ready for this evening's 60s & 70s Fancy Dress party and dinner.\n\nDAY 3 - Exmouth & River Exe Cruise\nHead off to the traditional seaside town of Exmouth to join a gentle circular cruise (approx. 1 hour 15 minutes) along the tranquil waters of the River Exe. Starting in Exmoor, the River Exe is Devon's main river and flows for more than 50 miles and up to one mile wide in places through Tiverton and Exeter before it meets the sea in Exmouth. This award-winning stretch of water is home to a wide range of wildlife and migrating birds which can often be spotted. The boat has an indoor heated lower deck with large windows for great viewing and an outside upper deck for plenty of fresh air. Enjoy time at leisure to discover Exmouth, one of the oldest and most picturesque seaside towns in Devon. Explore two miles of golden sandy beach (the longest seafront in Devon and Cornwall), hop from shop to local eatery or take a relaxed promenade along the idyllic Esplanade. Return to the hotel this afternoon with bingo, quiz & entertainment this evening\n\nDAY 4 - After breakfast, it's time to return homewards breaking the journey at a suitable stop for refreshments. Arrive back at your local joining points this evening
