So much to see and do in this region
DAY 1 - After joining your holiday coach, you will travel to Dover for the short sea crossing to Calais. Continue to the overnight hotel. BB\n\nDAY 2 - Today you will journey on before arriving in Austria and your destination, Igls, for your 4-night stay which starts with a welcome drink and porterage assistance on arrival. DBB\n\nDAY 3 - 5 - At leisure in Igls with two included excursions and full board\n\nYou will have three full days to explore this beautiful region with two included half day excursions which allow you to make the most of the hotel inclusions - light buffet lunch (or packed lunch depending on the excursion), afternoon cake (16.00 - 17.00) and drinks package. During your stay the hotel offers a Farmers' buffet dinner on one night and an Italian buffet on another. Full board (including light buffet lunch or packed lunch) and included selected drinks (unlimited tea, coffee, soft drinks, house beer and house wine between 10.00 - 21.00 daily).\n\nIgls is located just 5km south of Innsbruck and there is a bus stop just a few steps from the hotel for the local bus service to take you into Innsbruck centre (approx 15 - 20 mins). From Innsbruck main railway station there are frequent rail services to pretty Seefeld (approx 35 mins), nestled in the heart of a breathtaking mountain region at 1,180 metres above sea level. In Seefeld you will find an historic centre, the parish church of St. Oswald and a 500-year-old monastery cellar which brews the best beer on the high plateau. A little further on, the Wildsee promenade beckons you to take a relaxed stroll.\n\nAlterantively on your free day, you may like to take a scenic ride on the panoramic tramline no 6, the 'forest tram' through the idyllic scenery to Bergisel where the iconic Olympic ski jump and tower are located (entrance not included). The hotel is walking distance to the Patscherkofel cable car (approx. €29 pp return in 2024). The area around Igls is well known for its beautiful walks and hikes.\n\nINCLUDED EXCURSIONS\nInnsbruck\nEnjoy a half day visit to the charming capital of the Tyrol, Innsbruck, with its famous Little Golden Roof, Renaissance Ambras Castle and Imperial Palace. 'Alpine-urban' Innsbruck is bursting with cultural treasures, traditional charm and cosmopolitan appeal. Plenty of time to explore - perhaps a trip on the Hungerburg funicular railway with its über-modern stations offering spectacular views over the region or maybe a spot of shopping or people watching on the Maria Theresien Street. Your driver may be able to offer you a guided tour of the city. If you wish to stay in Innsbrück for longer, you may return to the hotel under your own steam.\n\nThis afternoon there will be an optional transfer to the sparkling Swarovski Crystal World in Wattens with its extensive grounds and 'Chambers of Wonder' (entrance not included - guideline price €25 pp in 2024). Alternatively stay at the hotel to relax and enjoy the facilities.\n\nScenic Drive - Brenner Pass & Vipiteno\nA morning drive over the famous Brenner Pass, the Alpine pass at 1,370m Alps which forms the border between Italy and Austria takes you into pretty Vipiteno (Sterzing in German) in the German speaking Südtirol region of Italy. Vipiteno is a charming Alpine town, full of elegant buildings, medieval squares and picturesque shopping streets - truly one of the most beautifull historic town centres in Italy. Don't miss the Tower of Twelve (Torre delle Dodici), earning its name from the tolling of its bell that called citizens to their midday break. Time permitting, return via the old, scenic Brenner route.\n\nDAY 6 - Bid farewell to the Hotel Bon Alpina and spectacular Alps as you head north for the final overnight. BB\n\nDAY 7 - Today after an early breakfast, travel back through France to Calais for the return crossing to England.

This charming 3* chalet-style hotel is located in the village centre of Igls, close to Innsbruck. Guestrooms are generous and modern with room safe, hair dryer and TV. Twin rooms here are continental twins (one bed frame with two mattresses and singles are double rooms for sole occupancy. There is a traditional bar area, large Tyrolean-style restaurant as well as extensive leisure facilities including indoor pool, heated outdoor pool, sauna, steam and fitness area. There is a lift to all floors.
