Description

Our day begins at the Cumbrian coastal village of Ravenglass where we board the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway, locally known as ‘La’al Ratty’ (little railway) for a scenic round trip through the countryside. Then it's on to the historic (and apparently haunted!) Muncaster Castle. You will have free time to explore the spectacular Great Hall, octagonal library, wild woodland gardens, 12th century church and World Owl Centre, before we return home. (Entry included.)
