Away from the beach and turquoise waters, discover the walled Old Town with its tangle of cobbled streets and enchanting castle.Day 5 - Optional excursion to Barcelona with guided city tour (£15pp)*Today is a chance to join our optional excursion to Barcelona. We see all the highlights of this vibrant, beachside city with our guided city tour, including the bustling streets known as Las Ramblas, Gaudí's incredible cathedral, the Sagrada Família and the area built for the 1992 Olympics.*Book by 31st December 2024.Day 6 - Day at leisureDay 7 - Besalú and FigueresA scenic drive along the coast awaits today. We stop first in Besalú, a beautifully preserved medieval town with a 12th-century Romanesque bridge over the River Fluvià, narrow arcaded streets and small squares. We then head to the charming town of Figueres, birthplace of the eccentric artist Salvador Dalí and a lovely spot for some souvenir shopping.Day 8 - Optional excursion to Girona with guided city tour (£20pp)Join our optional excursion to Girona, a compact and charming city located halfway between the sea and mountains. There is plenty to enjoy during our day out here, from discovering the grandiose Gothic cathedral to exploring the beautifully preserved Jewish quarter. We enjoy a guided tour of the city and explore the cobblestone streets, the medieval architecture and discover the hidden gems of this captivating Catalonian city.Day 9 - Roses & CadaquésWe take an enchanting journey to Roses & Cadaqués, two hidden gems on the Costa Brava, where the serene beauty of the Mediterranean meets an abundance of history and art. In Roses, enjoy the quiet flavour of an unspoilt coastal town with its pristine sandy beaches, seaside trails and impressive megalithic structures.Next, we head to Cadaqués, a picturesque village that inspired the works of Salvador Dalí. Nestled into the rugged coastline, tiny hidden bays line the coast around this small town. The white-washed houses and terracotta roofs sparkle under the sun and in delightful contrast to the bright blue Mediterranean waters. Visit the historic quarter, where there are many museums and art galleries, including the Salvador Dalí House-Museum.Day 10 - Day at leisureDay 11We leave the Costa Brava and travel to our overnight hotel in France, with a light evening meal included.Day 12Continue to Calais for our return ferry home.

Costa Brava
It's easy to see why Spain's northernmost Costa, the Costa Brava, remains so popular with coach holidaymakers.
With a spectacular coastline made up of dramatic cliffs and secluded coves framed by towering pines and only interrupted by pretty harbours and seaside towns, the Costa Brava, which translates as 'wild coast', is the place to go for romantic unspoilt scenery, breathtaking views and some of Europe's finest Blue Flag beaches, not to mention a mild year-round climate.
Coach holidays to the Costa Brava have something for everyone.
