Itinerary
Little Trains of Norfolk & Mississippi Paddle Steamer
The beautiful county of Norfolk is characterised by charming seaside towns, unspoilt coastline and unique scenery, making it a perfect holiday destination. On this relaxing break we experience the striking landscape of the Norfolk Broads, consisting of shallow lakes and rivers, scattered with pretty market towns and villages along its shores. We discover the mystic beauty of its waterways by paddle steamer as well as enjoy nostalgic journeys on Norfolk's heritage railways through picturesque countryside, taking us back to a bygone era.

Little Trains of Norfolk & Mississippi Paddle Steamer
Included Excursions
Cromer, Sheringham & the North Norfolk Railway (full day)
We head first to Cromer, a classic resort on the north Norfolk coast, famous for its tasty crabs, wide open beaches and traditional pier. Originally a small north Norfolk fishing village, our next stop of Sheringham is now a popular seaside town with a sandy beach, seafront promenade and a diverse range of shops. Don't forget to have some classic fish and chips here!
Later on, we board our train on the heritage North Norfolk Railway (also known as the Poppy Line) for a spectacularly scenic journey from Sheringham to Holt, passing through a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Bure Valley Railway & Mississippi Paddle Steamer Cruise (full day)
We experience a nostalgic trip on the heritage Bure Valley Railway, Norfolk's longest narrow gauge railway, from Aylsham to Wroxham, meandering through the pretty Bure Valley countryside. After free time in Wroxham, with its pretty riverside walks and gentle waters, we travel by coach to the picturesque village of Horning. Here we embark on a memorable cruise along the Norfolk Broads on the Mississippi Paddle Steamer, passing lovely thatched cottages, windmills, ancient churches and reed beds while spotting some of the area's unique wildlife along the way.

Optional Excursion
Norwich (£15pp) (full day)
Join our optional excursion to Norwich. With a beautiful Norman cathedral that boasts the largest cloisters and the second tallest spire in the country, Norwich is the most complete medieval city in Britain. Steeped in history, the city's winding lanes lined with period buildings add to the unique atmosphere, while other highlights include the original Colman's Mustard shop and one of the largest outdoor markets in England.
