One highlight is York Minster, the largest Gothic Cathedral north of the Alps and a spectacular masterpiece featuring stunning stained glass. Don't miss the famous Betty's English Tea Rooms too, plus the cobbled streets of The Shambles (Europe's oldest shopping street) and Stonegate, with its many oak-beamed shops, pubs and cafés. Later, we check into our hotel in time for dinner.
