Join us for a sightseeing adventure along North Devon's coastline and discover some of the prettiest seaside towns nestled in coastal harbours, bays and coves. We visit charming Clovelly, one of North Devon's sparkling gems, as well as a trio of coastal delights; pretty Combe Martin, Ilfracombe and Woolacombe. There's also time to explore our wonderful base of historic Bideford, ideally situated for our expedition to the seaside.

Included ExcursionsClovelly (full day)We take a journey back in time to the ancient and picturesque fishing village of Clovelly, where we can venture up and down the cobbled streets, taking in the views across Bideford Bay, or have a beverage at the famous 18th-century Red Lion Inn. Clinging to a 400-foot cliff, Clovelly is famous for being completely vehicle-less, with local supplies being delivered by donkey, sledge or on foot.Afterwards we journey to the harbour town of Bideford, where we enjoy free time to discover this town's delightful sights. It's the perfect place for a spot of retail therapy and a relaxing time outdoors.Coastal Towns Tour (Combe Martin, Ilfracombe & Woolacombe) (full day)We travel to the coast for the highlight of our trip, a tour of three seaside towns, starting with Combe Martin. Nestled on the edge of Exmoor, the town offers stunning views, a peaceful cove and a picturesque harbour. We have time to enjoy this beautiful setting before making our way to our second stop, Ilfracombe, the well-known seaside resort which features a small harbour surrounded by cliffs. Here we can experience the local charm at the local independent craft shops or take a walk around the harbour with a cone of chips or an ice cream in hand. Lastly, we depart for Woolacombe, famous for its award-winning beach and the perfect final stop on this wonderful day exploring the coast.Optional ExcursionsBarnstaple Market (£12pp) (half day)Join our optional excursion where we visit the historic town of Barnstaple, one of the UK's oldest boroughs, and famous for the Pannier Market, one of Britain's largest indoor markets. Since Saxon times, Barnstaple has served as a market town to the surrounding countryside. You can expect a unique shopping experience with everything from local produce, flowers and crafts to prints, pictures and fashion on offer.
Ilfracombe
Tucked away on the North Devon Heritage Coast, Ilfracombe is the most popular seaside towns on Devon's north coast.
The resort retains all of its Edwardian and Victorian charm and has plenty of activities and attractions to suit your taste, including award-winning Ilfracombe Aquarium, the unique Tunnels Beaches, fascinating Ilfracombe Museum, St Nicholas Chapel and nearby Chambercombe Manor.
