Included ExcursionsSevern Valley Railway & Blists Hill Victorian Town (full day)For our first excursion, we start the day by taking a charming trip on the Severn Valley Railway for a heritage train journey from Kidderminster to the ancient riverside town of Bridgnorth. The train meanders its way along the picturesque Severn Valley, passing sleepy towns and villages along the way.Afterwards, we continue to Ironbridge where we travel back in time with our visit to the Blists Hill Victorian Town. Enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of this reconstructed working-class town, complete with a whole range of shops, factories, and buildings, along with costumed characters. En-route back to our hotel, we enjoy a photo stop at the famous Ironbridge.Ludlow Market (full day)Today we make our way to Ludlow, famous for its market which has taken place for over 900 years. There's plenty of time to explore the stalls and find yourself a hidden gem or an interesting hand-crafted gift - it's the perfect place to shop for presents.Shrewsbury & River Cruise (full day)We travel to Shrewsbury, a fine medieval market town packed with timber-framed black and white buildings, a maze of narrow alleys and cobbled streets. Here we board our boat for a scenic cruise along the River Severn as it loops around the town. We enjoy light refreshments while we take in the beautiful views and learn about the town's unique history from our captain's commentary.

Situated on the banks of the River Severn, the medieval market town of Shrewsbury is a delightful place to visit on a coach break to Shropshire and surrounding area with National Holidays.
The town is one of the UK's most visited heritage cities, steeped in culture and history, which retains a timeless appeal thanks to its timber framed black and white buildings which line the maze of cobbled alleyways.
