Step Back in Time at Blists Hill Victorian Village - Experience the sights, sounds, and smells of the Victorian era at Blists Hill Victorian Village, an open-air museum at Shropshire's Ironbridge Gorge. Walk through the authentic Victorian streets, meet costumed characters, and explore traditional shops, homes, and workplaces that bring history to life. Visit the Victorian sweet shop, bakery, and pub, or watch skilled craftspeople at work in the blacksmith's forge, printer's workshop, and candle maker's shop.
Enjoy the 1940s on the Severn Valley Railway and experience wartime Britain at the Severn Valley Railway's 1940s Weekend, an event packed with nostalgia, entertainment, and history. With a journey aboard a steam train, surrounded by authentic 1940s décor, music, and reenactments. - Enjoy live wartime music, and dance performances, or browse the vintage market for authentic clothing and memorabilia.
