Itinerary
Tuesday: Following a morning departure we travel through the West Country into Devon and onto Torquay. Here we spend five nights at the Livermead House Hotel. The hotel occupies an enviable position overlooking the Torbay Coastline and it prides itself on a traditional approach and its silver service dining in the restaurant.
Wednesday - Saturday: During our stay in Torquay we have included various excursions. These include a day to Dartmouth and Totnes including a river cruise on the River Dart. A visit to Newton Abbot and later a scenic drive over Dartmoor to Widecombe in the Moor and a visit to the lovely coastal resort of Sidmouth. We also have a day at leisure.
The hotel is on a main bus route with easy access to the surrounding area.
Sunday: This morning we leave our hotel and commence the homeward journey, making the usual refreshment stops en-route. We arrive home during the afternoon.
