Dublin
The fair city of Dublin is a beautiful medieval city, with a long and colourful past - its museums, art galleries and wonderful architecture, all chronicling its fascinating history.Tracing its origins back to a small Viking settlement, it has much history to offer its visitors. See the Book of Kells, written around 800AD, one of the most beautifully illustrated manuscripts in the world or visit the many castles in the area.\n\nWhen you visit Dublin it's easy to understand why it is often described as the city that never sleeps. In the day Grafton Street remains the hub of activity with plenty of high street stores and designer boutiques, whilst in the evening the party atmosphere of Temple Bar is truly irresistible. If you're looking for some respite away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre then Phoenix Park is a great place to relax or enjoy an afternoon in Dublin Zoo. Alternatively relax by the graceful fountains and waterfall in Iveagh Gardens.
