You can expect a warm Yorkshire welcome in Skipton with its immense history, great shopping and proud & passionate locals and spend a day out at one of the UK's best Christmas markets in Leeds - the place to be to eat, drink and make merry!

Yuletide Yorkshire
DAY 1 - After joining your holiday coach, you travel north to Yorkshire to check into your hotel for your 3 night stay. Porterage on arrival DBB\n\nDAY 2 - 3 At leisure in Yorkshire with two included excursions.\n\nINCLUDED EXCURSIONS\nSkipton & GLOW at RHS Harlow Carr - Saturday\nThis morning it is off to Skipton - the charming and historic Dales town with a rich culture, independent shops, food & drink places galore and an iconic 900-year old castle, all surrounded by stunning countryside. There are great shops on the High Street but they are also hidden down the ginnels and side streets so to have a truly unique shopping experience make sure you venture off the main streets to see what Skipton really has to offer. Saturday is also market day. Head back to the hotel for lunch today (which replaces dinner today) before heading off later to the weekend's highlight at RHS Garden Harlow Carr - GLOW. Wander the enchanting trail around the garden and see some of RHS Harlow Carr's iconic features in a new and dazzling light. From magnificent trees bathed in brilliant colour to shimmering shrubs and water feature wow moments, there are captivating views and magical effects to discover at every turn. Be immersed in a kaleidoscope of festive colour as thousands of glittering lights fill the garden with seasonal cheer. NB there are flat paths and some inclines around the garden.\n\nLeeds Christmas Markets\nThe festive spirit takes over the city from the end of November when the Leeds Christmas Market arrives with its tasty fare, gifts galore and pop-up bars. Focused mainly around Millennium Square and City Square, the city sparkles as the streets come to life with enticing stalls, cosy tipis, musical entertainment, twinkling lights, ice-skating, hot chocolates and traditional fairground rides. Indulge in all the sights and sounds as you stroll around the traditional, timber stalls with artisan goods and handcrafted treats from international, national and local traders. Don't forget there is also great shopping in Leeds from Grade 2 listed Victorian arcades to modern malls and the iconic Kirkgate Market and Corn Exchange.\n\nDAY 4 - After breakfast, bid farewell to Yorkshire as you head south to interchange and onward to your home towns\n\nNB This itinerary was planned well in advance and is based on information available at the time of going to print.
