A splendid four-day break to enjoy the city delights of Oxford along with the Birmingham Christmas Markets.
Enjoy an excursion to Oxford. Go to the top of Carfax Tower for superb views over the city, explore the intricate network of lanes lined with noble buildings, recognize familiar sights from TV programmes and films from Harry Potter to Inspector Morse, or simply sit back, relax and enjoy the atmosphere of this most remarkable city.
The Birmingham Christmas market sees the area in Victoria Square, New Street & Centenary Square adorned by over 180 stalls, selling everything including festive decorations, handmade gifts, jewellery, traditional wooden toys, delicious German fare and of course mulled wine and mince pies.

Oxford
Oxford, a beautiful city which dates back to Saxon times. It's packed full of fascinating attractions, attracting many visitors each year.
Take a wander down quaint cobbled streets, discover the stunning architecture, and marvel at the awe-inspiring landmarks within the city of dreaming spires. Steeped in history, Oxford has provided authors with creative inspiration over the years, including Chaucer, with his reference to the city in The Canterbury Tales. It's also a popular film location, appearing in TV dramas and films, including Inspector Morse, Harry Potter and Endeavour.
Oxford is one of the most famous university cities in the world. There are numerous impressive college buildings dotted throughout the city, including the well-known Bodleian Libraries which opened in 1602. This group of 28 libraries is now the largest academic library system in the UK.
