Celebrate the festive season with a magical journey behind the iconic City of Wells Steam Train. On this exclusive break for JG Travel, enjoy Christmas carols on the platform and then a memorable trip on the East Lancashire Railway with Santa himself, along for the ride! Sit back, relax and indulge in some delicious treats and yuletide drinks. During our break away we also visit Manchester Christmas Market to see the incredible atmosphere, stalls, fun and food, the perfect chance for some Christmas shopping.

Itinerary (Coach)
Day 1From a morning pickup in your local area, we travel by coach to Manchester to explore the famous Christmas Market. Browse the many stalls, enjoy live music and revel in the festive makeover that attracts thousands of visitors year after year. There is time to have dinner (not included) before we rejoin the coach and continue to our hotel for our overnight stay.\n\nDay 2 After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and travel to the East Lancashire Railway train station to board the City of Wells Steam Train for our festive adventure. Christmas Carol singers greet us on the platform to make a truly memorable experience. Then it's time to take a seat inside the much-cherished locomotive and tuck into mince pies along with your favourite tipple. Don't miss Santa! He's on board too, with a gift for everyone. Afterwards, we re-join the coach for our journey home.
