Description
It's beginning to look a lot like a Turkey & Tinsel break with all the trimmings! We've picked one of the best spots on the English Riviera for our festivities and we invite you to relax and enjoy a merry old time with light entertainment every night and a bar offer at our welcoming hotel. With an inclusive itinerary featuring the delights of historic Plymouth and idyllic Dartmouth, this is a great way to kick off the festive season!
Coach Itinerary
Day 1 After joining the coach, we make our way to our hotel and check in. We enjoy light entertainment every evening before our evening meal together.\n\nDay 2 - PlymouthToday we enjoy a full day of sightseeing. En-route we have a break at the pretty market town of Moretonhampstead, before heading to the popular city the sea, home to a famous university and known for its welcoming, laid-back culture. Check out the town centre for a unique shopping experience or relax at a coffee shop and take in the cosmopolitan atmosphere. There is much to explore in the city, such as the iconic Plymouth Hoe, where you'll find a lovely long promenade and a statue of Sir Francis Drake, as well as one of the best views of the ocean from 'Smeaton's Lighthouse.'\n\nDay 3 - Optional excursion to Exeter - £12pp (full day)Join us on our optional excursion to the vibrant city of Exeter, considered the capital of Devon. Small in size, it still has plenty to offer thanks to its rich and long history. The beautiful and historic quayside area offers an eclectic mix of antique shops, cafés, restaurants, pubs and barsand is also a lovely place for a riverside stroll.Exeter Cathedral is the city's main landmark and one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture, with the longest uninterrupted Gothic vaulted ceiling in the world. There's also a great range of independent shops and boutiques plus a vibrant arts scene, there's much to discover in this attractive city in the heart of Devon.\n\nDay 4 - DartmouthWe head to Dartmouth, a vibrant harbour town and a food-lovers paradise. There's lots to discover, from seafood to fudge, this is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the local delicacies on offer! Take a stroll to Dartmouth castle and enjoy the views of the sparkling waters on the way, or explore the wide range of art galleries, museums and shops dotted along the historic winding streets. We head back to the hotel in the afternoon to enjoy free time.\n\nDay 5 After breakfast, we check out of our hotel and head for home.
