Itinerary
Description
Welcome to the Peak District! Slumbering across the southern end of the Pennines, the quaint villages of this stunning region are enveloped between the hills and moorland like something straight out of ye olde England picturebook. On this enchanting getaway, we visit Chatsworth House for its annual Christmas display, where the house and grounds are transformed into a magical winter wonderland, set in a beautiful landscape. We also enjoy free time in Buxton with its exquisite architecture and festive atmosphere.

Coach Itinerary
Day 1 After joining the coach, we make our way to our hotel and check in.\n\nDay 2 - Chatsworth House Today we head to Chatsworth House. Still home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, it boasts grandiose interiors, a wonderful art collection and 100 acres of garden. Arguably one of Britain's finest stately homes, it's always extra special when it's all wrapped up for the Christmas festivities with dazzling lights and stunning decorations. Take a winter walk on one of the many trails on the estate, pick out special keepsakes at the gift shop or just soak up the festive atmosphere of this majestic setting!\n\nDay 3 - Buxton After checking out of the hotel, we spend time at leisure in Buxton. Known as the 'gateway to the Peak District' this Regency spa town offers world-famous Georgian architecture. Think ornamental gardens, a flurry of parks and a curvy Grade I-listed crescent. Find Christmas treats and gifts at quaint independent shops or stop for refreshments at one of the town's charming cafés. We then depart for our return journey home.
