Description
Make this New Year's Eve one to remember in the elegant spa town of Buxton, located on the edge of the stunning Peak District National Park. The area is known for its breathtaking scenery and picturesque towns, making it the perfect setting to enjoy the New Year celebrations, which include a special Hogmanay dinner and entertainment at our hotel.

Itinerary (Coach)
30th December After joining the coach, we make our way to our hotel and check in.\n\nNew Year's Eve - Eyam & Bakewell Crossing the Peak District National Park, we first head to Eyam, known as the 'Plague Village' due to the events of 1665-66 when the plague was brought from London to this tiny community. The village has craft workshops, a gift shop and tea rooms to enjoy. We continue to the beautiful market town of Bakewell, set on the banks of the River Wye. Probably best known for its Bakewell Pudding, the town boasts an ancient five-arched bridge, riverside walks, independent shops and cafés. Later, we enjoy our New Year celebrations at the hotel, including a Hogmanay buffet dinner.\n\nNew Year's Day - Matlock Bath & Ashbourne Our New Year begins with a scenic drive through the Peak District National Park on our way to the picturesque spa town of Matlock Bath, set in the beautiful gorge of the River Derwent with wooded hillsides and rocky limestone crags. Our next stop is the market town of Ashbourne with its historic buildings, independent shops, cobbled marketplace and hidden alleys. This evening we enjoy the chef's buffet dinner back at the hotel.\n\n2nd JanuaryAfter breakfast, we check out of our hotel and head for home.

Hotels with a JG3 rating tend to be a more formal style of hotel, often part of a hotel chain, or are very-welcoming family-owned properties. Generally, they offer a greater range of facilities and services, and bedrooms tend to be a little more spacious with additional features. Public areas are larger and include lounge seating, bar and restaurant with good quality food served either buffet style or waiter service.
