Itinerary
Description
Take Christmas that little bit further with a fabulous Twixmas break in pretty Buxton, nestled on the edge of the spectacular Peak District National Park. As well as exploring this picturesque spa town, we also visit historic Chester with its beautifully preserved ancient buildings and the pretty market town of Bakewell.

Itinerary
Day 1After joining the coach, we make an en-route stop at Bakewell. Located on the banks of the river Wye, this town has plenty more to offer than a tasty pudding! Discover its tearooms, spend time browsing local produce in the farmers' markets, or take a wander through the quaint cobbled streets. We then rejoin the coach and travel to our hotel, in time for our evening meal.\n\nDay 2We head to Chester, a charming, ancient city that is a delight to explore. There are several museums to find out more about its fascinating history that spans the centuries, from the remains of the Roman amphitheatre to the eye-catching medieval Rows that line the streets. Enjoy a relaxing stop for refreshments at one of the many cafés or why not indulge in some post-Christmas shopping?\n\nDay 3After breakfast, we check out of the hotel for some free time in Buxton, known for its Georgian and Victorian architecture and stunning ornamental gardens as well as independent shops and cafés. Later, we rejoin the coach for our journey home.
