Description
Set amidst the stunning scenery of Wharfedale, the elegant spa town of Ilkley offers a range of sophisticated and specialty shops. After some time to explore and have a bite to eat, we continue north to Bolton Abbey, a ruined Abbey and Priory set in a beautiful, tranquil location along River Wharfe. We have time for a stroll through this beautiful landscape, part of the Duke of Devonshire's estate. The day ends with a nostalgic journey through scenic Yorkshire countryside on the Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway, with Cream Tea served on board. A popular location for TV and filmmakers, you may recognise Embsay Station as its fictional counterpart, Hotten Station, from ITV’s ‘Emmerdale.’ Please advise us if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions.
