Description
Head south this winter for a vibrant Christmas getaway by the sea! We stay in the relaxed coastal town of Eastbourne (think fun-filled celebrations at our hotel paired with refreshing strolls along the seafront). We also discover pretty Hastings and Battle on this not-to-be-missed breakaway and also have the chance to visit Brighton.
Itinerary
23rd December After joining the coach, we make our way to our hotel and check in.\n\nChristmas Eve - Optional excursion to Brighton - £14pp For our optional excursion we head to cosmopolitan Brighton, one of Britain's favourite resorts. At Christmastime, the city's enticing blend of tradition and style is shown off to its best effect, complete with lovely festive decorations and lights.\n\nChristmas DayChristmas Day is a chance to relax at our hotel and, of course, indulge in a festive lunch with all the trimmings. A light buffet dinner is served in the evening.\n\nBoxing Day - Hastings & BattleThe delights of 1066 Country await, stopping first in the coastal town of Hastings, which boasts the remains of the first castle in England to be built by William the Conqueror and a preserved Old Town with half-timbered houses and narrow streets. Our next stop is Battle, the scene of William the Conqueror's famous victory.\n\n27th DecemberAfter breakfast, we check out of our hotel and head for home.
