Climb aboard for a truly magical Christmas experience on The Polar Express; a festive adventure on the Wensleydale Railway for the whole family to enjoy! Sit back, relax and indulge in some delicious treats and hot chocolate as you sing along to Christmas carols. As if the journey wasn't cosy enough, all passengers are invited to wear pyjamas on the train to make the experience even more special!
During our break away we also visit the wonderful city of York, all decked out for the season with glittering festive lights and the perfect chance for some Christmas shopping.

Itinerary
Day 1From a morning pickup in your local area, we travel by coach to York to enjoy a few hours exploring the famous city. One of Europe's most popular cities, renowned for its Roman, Viking and medieval heritage, with lots of attractions for visitors to enjoy. The streets are full of historic buildings, traditional shops and cafés, and several museums and art galleries. Later, we re-join the coach and continue to our hotel for dinner and our overnight stay.Day 2After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and travel to the train station to board the Wensleydale Railway for our festive adventure. Enjoy freshly baked cookies and hot chocolate as you sing along to Christmas carols and soak up the festive magic. We also have time to visit the gift shop afterwards before we re-join the coach for our journey home.
