Itinerary
Day 1 - Journey to GermanyWe catch the ferry to Calais and journey onwards to our hotel.Day 2 - Boppard & Koblenz Christmas marketsToday we travel to Boppard, where we stop for a look around the town's magical Christmas market. Boppard's popular town centre comes alive in the Christmas season, a haven for wine lovers and Christmas market goers. After purchasing a gift or two, we head to Koblenz. Here we have time to explore the picturesque Old Town, and the Christmas market with over 130 stalls providing a variety of hand-made goods, decorations and traditional German festive food and drink to get you in the mood for the season.Day 3 - Bacharach & Rüdesheim Christmas marketsWe journey to the 'world's prettiest town,' called Bacharach perched on the bank of the River Rhine. Here we enjoy the town's narrow streets and lovely houses. Later, we travel to Rüdesheim for free time to explore the Christmas market, held in the historic Old Town. Try the hot wine or punch, sample the German delicacies and check out the local hand-crafted cuckoo clocks and toys. Experience the joy of Christmas on our last night in this magical setting.Day 4After breakfast we check out of our hotel and head back to Calais for our return ferry home.
