Itinerary
Day 1After joining the coach, we make our way to our hotel and check in.Day 2 - Chatsworth HouseToday we head to Chatsworth House. Still home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, it boasts grandiose interiors, a wonderful art collection and 100 acres of garden. Arguably one of Britain's finest stately homes, it's always extra special when it's all wrapped up for the Christmas festivities with dazzling lights and stunning decorations. Take a winter walk on one of the many trails on the estate, pick out special keepsakes at the gift shop or just soak up the festive atmosphere of this majestic setting!Day 3 - BuxtonAfter checking out of the hotel, we spend time at leisure in Buxton. Known as the 'gateway to the Peak District' this Regency spa town offers world-famous Georgian architecture. Think ornamental gardens, a flurry of parks and a curvy Grade I-listed crescent. Find Christmas treats and gifts at quaint independent shops or stop for refreshments at one of the town's charming cafés. We then depart for our return journey home.

Chatsworth House
We experience the grandeur of Chatsworth House, the ancestral home of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, which has been passed down through 16 generations of the Cavendish family. Situated in the heart of the Peak District, Chatsworth House is one of the UK's real gems. Stroll through 25 rooms and marvel at works of art spanning over 4,000 years, including magnificent ornate ceilings, Roman and Egyptian sculptures, plus paintings from artists including Rembrandt and Van Dyck.
Every grand staircase and room you enter is like a scene from a period drama, a feast for the eyes with some of the finest and priceless art to exist in the world. The Sculpture Gallery is equally impressive and features a collection of items collected over the years including large white marble Italian sculptures and the largest vase in the world made from Blue John stone.
Outside, the 105-acre gardens are also a real treat with perfectly manicured lawns, spectacular flower beds and a rockery garden, all of which can be explored by wandering on foot along the five miles of designated trails. There are plenty of sculptures to discover in the grounds too as well as numerous ponds and fountains, most notably the eye-catching Cascade waterfall which flows down 24 different shaped steps.

Buxton
The elegant spa town of Buxton is located on the edge of the spectacular Peak District National Park, Britain's first National Park and an area of extraordinary natural beauty. There are picturesque vistas at every turn, from stunning landscapes of moorland and dales to peaceful towns and pretty villages.
Buxton is the perfect base to explore the beautiful Peak District and is a lovely coach holiday destination for those looking to relax and enjoy the fresh countryside air.
