30th DecemberAfter joining the coach, we make our way to our hotel and check in.New Year's Eve - Warwick CastleWe head to the bustling town of Warwick, famous for its historic castle which sits magnificently on a sandstone bluff at a bend on the banks of the River Avon. Built by William the Conqueror in 1068, Warwick Castle has transitioned over time from a good-sized wooden fort to the massive stone-walled castle we see today. There is plenty to enjoy in the castle grounds and we also have time to explore Warwick, with time for some shopping or a drink, before we head back to enjoy our New Year celebrations at the hotel, including a Hogmanay buffet dinner.New Year's Day - Bourton-on-the-Water & BroadwayOur New Year begins with a visit to the pretty riverside village of Bourton-on-the-Water. A much-loved destination for locals and tourists alike, the charm of this place is in its quaint stone bridges, unique shops and museums. Don't miss the famous Christmas tree that sits on the River Windrush!Once we are refreshed by the delightful scenery, we reboard the coach to our second destination of the day in the very heart of the Cotswolds, a postcard-perfect village Broadway. On Broadway High Street, we can see the honey-coloured limestone used throughout the Cotswolds, and marvel at the pretty houses which line the streets next to horse chestnut trees and pristine grass verges. This is the idyllic Cotswolds at its finest! This evening we enjoy the chef's buffet dinner back at the hotel.2nd JanuaryAfter breakfast, we check out of our hotel and head for home.
