Itinerary
Day 1After joining the coach, we make our way to our hotel and check in.Day 2 - CanterburyToday we visit the spellbinding city of Canterbury, home to the oldest cathedral in England, dating back to Norman times. There is plenty to explore within the city's medieval walls, from quaint cobbled lanes and timber-framed buildings to a bustling shopping centre.Day 3 - Optional excursion to Sandwich - £11pp (half day)The charming town of Sandwich lies on the pretty River Stour in Kent and was once one of the Cinque Ports. Stroll through the narrow winding streets or enjoy the walk along the old town walls, one of the most complete defensive circuits of any English medieval town.Day 4 - RochesterWe head to enchanting and historic Rochester. Boasting ancient buildings including an imposing castle and magnificent cathedral, the town was also a favourite of Charles Dickens who based many of his novels in the area.Day 5After breakfast, we check out of our hotel and head for home.
